Ruixin Pro 6" Resin Diamond Flex Stone
Ruixin Pro 6" Resin Diamond Flex Stone is crafted from high-quality Swiss resin-bonded diamond abrasive material, renowned for its precise and uniform grit distribution. This strict grain size control ensures consistent sharpening performance, allowing users to achieve fast, efficient metal removal and a refined edge with excellent tactile feedback comparable to traditional water stones.
Utilizing advanced resin composite technology, the diamond abrasives are firmly bonded onto a flexible backing, which is then securely adhered to a rigid aluminum plate using durable 3M double-sided adhesive. This construction offers superior durability and stability, ensuring the stone maintains its flatness and performance over extended use.
The stone’s surface features a distinct raised grid-pattern coating designed specifically to facilitate effective swarf removal. This grid texture helps keep metal filings and debris from clogging the abrasive surface, ensuring the diamond particles remain consistently exposed for maximum cutting efficiency throughout the sharpening process.
Available in a grit range from 200 to 3000, the Ruixin Pro Resin Diamond Flex Stone caters to a wide range of sharpening needs — from coarse shaping to fine polishing — making it versatile for freehand use as well as compatibility with sharpening systems such as Ruixin Pro, TSPROF, Hapstone, and Edge Pro.
An important characteristic of this stone is its break-in period. The raised grid pattern may feel slightly aggressive initially, but after approximately 10 knives sharpened, it naturally softens, creating a more even contact surface with the blade while still promoting excellent swarf clearance. This break-in process enhances overall sharpening performance and user experience over time.

How to Use
Splash and Begin Quick and Easy Sharpening: Soaking stones is not recommended. A quick in and out dunk in water, or spraying them several times over the course of a minute or so is all that's required. We do recommend keeping a spray bottle handy to keep the stones wet while sharpening. The thick resin layer absorbs water, providing better control during sharpening.
Dressing Stone Usage: Regularly use a dressing stone to maintain the performance. When the diamond surface accumulates metal residue, soak both the dressing stone and the stone in water. Gently rub the dressing stone against the diamond surface to remove buildup, revealing a fresh sharpening layer.
