How to Use

· Splash and Begin Quick and Easy Sharpening:

Soaking stones is not recommended. A quick in and out dunk in water, or spraying them several times over the course of a minute or so is all that's required. We do recommend keeping a spray bottle handy to keep the stones wet while sharpening. The thick resin layer absorbs water, providing better control during sharpening.

· Dressing Stone Usage:

Regularly use a dressing stone to maintain the performance. When the diamond surface accumulates metal residue, soak both the dressing stone and the stone in water. Gently rub the dressing stone against the diamond surface to remove buildup, revealing a fresh sharpening layer.

Excellent value for the money.

Great quality stone that cut quickly. Nothing on the market beats the value of these resin bonded stones.
The only downside side is that it’s only 1mm thick but I’m sure it will still last a long time.

100 grit is a nice edition to the set

I already have 2 sets of the 200 to 6000 grit resin bonded diamond stones. Ordered the 100 grit when it was available. After using the 100 grit, I wish I would have purchased two of them to save on shipping. Compared to the Jende 120 grit diamond plate I normally use for re-profiling, the Ruixin Pro bonded 100 grit feels as aggressive and cuts about as good. Major difference is the Ruixin Pro bonded 100 grit leaves a more consistent depth scratch or cut pattern. Feels about 3 times more aggressive than the 200 grit. The binder feels harder than the other grits in the set. After re-profiling 3 knives with 20CV, S30V and VG10 steel, no wear of the stone detected. Using soapy water as lubricant, I was surprised I had no loading issues.

Would be nice if these stones went edge to edge on the sides taking up the full 1" of the base plate. Or have the base plate be shorter in width so the usable stone is edge to edge. Have about 1.2 mm of usuable stone. Came very flat across the stone. Required 20 mins of light dressing with loose 220 grit SIC to fully expose the diamonds. The top resin layer had to be stripped off to expose the diamonds. Very high diamond content stones. I liked the 100 grit stone. Worth having and recommend to complete the set.

Loooooong shipping time with update

2 plus weeks in transit with multiple day delays at several locations, I won't be a returning customer and will recommend other look elsewhere for sharpening products

The reason for the initial one star review was. I received an automated email 14 days after purchase and I had not received the order. This could have easily been avoided had they implemented a simple script to check delivery status before requesting a review.

Why only 4 stars, the stone material really needs to go all the way to the edge on at least on one side. Otherwise this stone is difficult to use on blades with a tight choil.
Also the 'stone' is visibly discolored, this has not decreased with use or dressing.

We sincerely apologize for the delayed delivery of your order.🙏 This was caused by unforeseen issues with our shipping partner, which we take very seriously. We have addressed the problem directly with them and we are implementing enhanced logistics measures to improve future delivery reliability. Thank you for bringing this to our attention — your experience helps us serve you better. Your case has been escalated to our senior support team, who will personally connect with you to ensure proper resolution.
